Greetings!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our educational institution, Precious International School of Davao. Guided by our vision and mission, in consonance with the thrust of the Department of Education: “Bagong Pilipino: Bayang Marangal,” PISD, aims to implement a dynamic education, hand in hand with its policies, aimed at making each PISD graduate an effective agent of change. He/She is envisioned to be globally competent, skillful, morally grounded, a critical and creative thinker, a“marangal na bayani,”all for the glory of God and for the love of country and fellowmen. As you read through this, it is my desire that you too will catch the vision God had impressed upon me in 1999 - when DPCA now, PISD was founded: “A quality Christian education is our country’s best preparation for the future.” Our graduates should make a difference. Discipline in all facets of development is one major key towards the realization of that dream.

For me, values, if caught and taught at an early age, along with the efficacy of academic excellence can develop into virtues which are a strong foundation of a much applauded, respectable character worthy of emulation. This should not just be a while-in-school experience but an ongoing process designed to take place in every child’s heart and mind expressed in his actions and language as he lives from day to day.
