“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are” Theodore Roosevelt.
Life has various struggles and challenges but they only come for a season. There is always a beginning and an end. In whatever state you are right now, simply do what you can with the resources you have and inspire the people where you’re at. Keep moving forward... let go and let God! That is the only way to be hopeful and be excited for the future!
As part of the Precious belief that education is achieved through holistic formation... we created this monthly encouragement segment because we DESIRE to INSPIRE!
NEW BEGINNING
SEPTEMBER: BUDDING BEGINNINGS
In order for a seed to grow, it has to be planted in soil, or dirt. It gets buried, hidden, and left in the dark. It needs to be watered upon and filled with the right nutrients for it to become healthy and grow.
Life can feel like a seed sometimes. There’s a dream, hope, opportunity, talent, or gift that you have (seed) but maybe it’s the season for planting. Perhaps there are days that feel dark or like you’re hidden when you want to be seen and in the spotlight. It takes time for seeds to take root and grow, and that could be the same for you. Maybe you want to see the fruit now, see the reward after all the hard work, but the wait seems to go on. Every plant has different growth pacings too. Comparing one to the other would be unfair to the potential and beauty they each have.
Reflective Reminder: Value the season of planting, of taking root and being hidden, for one day you will see how each moment led to strength for the coming of sprouting seeds.
”I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me.” John 15:5 NLT
OBEDIENCE
Ephesians 6:1-2 CEB “As for children, obey your parents in the Lord, because it is right. The commandment Honor your father and mother is the first one with a promise attached…”
Obedience often sounds like a limiting word, but it can also lead to freedom and fruitfulness in life. Obedience to parents comes with a promise (and don’t forget the following verse that reminds parents not to provoke their children too) but it takes a change of heart and teamwork to see the fruit. To our parents and learners, we hope that you can work together to build strength and a safe place for each other to land when life gets challenging.

In line with our vision and mission, this new program from the GCTC is here to enlighten, encourage, and empower the entire PISD family and community. We hope to inspire you by bringing messages of wisdom and hope to your screens. Since you are precious to God, and therefore precious to us, we believe that building each other up in this life is a must.
