WEEKLY ENCOURAGEMENT APRIL 26-30, 2021
You made it. Let me repeat that again. You made it! From the moment online school was introduced and struggles arose to this week of final exams, you pushed through, did your best, and allowed God to work in ways you may not see. So look back on this year, and see how far you’ve come but also look to the present and be expectant for what is to come. You still have one last battle for this school year. The final exams are coming up and you may be trying to hold everything together.
Parents and Guardians. Your efforts may not always be appreciated nor your exhaustion seen, but you have done so well and overcome so much. Your kids are blessed to have you watching over, providing for, listening to, caring for, and loving them. There is no other parent/guardian like you and this year was conquered because of your presence in your child/children’s life. In this last battle, last stretch for the school year, don’t give up. Don’t give in. Lean into God’s love and presence, remember that Jesus is your hero and that you are a hero to your child/children. The seeds you sow matter.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
Students. You too have worked hard, struggled through, and overcome much that is often not seen or appreciated by everyone. And that’s okay, because now you can see how every day you chose to get up was a step that led to miles conquered. Remember, there is so much more to life ahead of you and life is not confined or defined to your school life. Do your best to give your all in school and in this last stretch of this school year’s race, and leave the rest in God’s hands.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
There is more ahead, through the victories and battles, but remember, you are seen, you are known, you were made for a great- er purpose, you are loved. Thank you for giving your best this year and for pushing through.
